Dr. Eleanor McBean was alive during the “Spanish Flu” and so is an ‘eye witness’ to what happened.
Her parents helped look after some of the sick people at the time, and Eleanor later wrote a book.
What happened and what did she write in her book?
- a. The flu virus was very contagious and both her parents caught it and died.
- b. The illness was pneumonia, not flu, and although both parents got ill, they both survived.
- c. There was no flu. The only people to get ill were those who had been ‘vaccinated’. Eleanor’s parents refused the vaccine and even though they came into close contact with many sick people, they never got ill.
